Mr. Di Tomaso, Executive Chairman of Bank of Santa Clarita, was part of the management team credited with the founding and organizing of the Bank of Santa Clarita.
Prior to the founding of Bank of Santa Clarita, Mr. Di Tomaso held the position of Senior Vice President and Business Development Officer at City National Bank, Los Angeles, California, from 1997 to 2004, and from 1996 to 1997 was Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Team Leader. Before joining City National Bank, Mr. Di Tomaso was employed at Metrobank, Los Angeles, California from 1984 until that bank was acquired by Comerica Bank in 1996 and served as the Senior Vice President and Manager of the Asset Based Loan Division of Metrobank from 1990 to 1996. Mr. Di Tomaso continued with Metrobank following the Comerica acquisition for a period of six months as the Group Manager of the Business Finance Group of Southern California.
Mr. Di Tomaso began his banking career at Union Bank, Los Angeles, California, in 1981 and graduated from its Management Training program in 1983. Prior to joining Union Bank, Mr. Di Tomaso was an Assistant Financial Analyst with the Small Business Administration in Fresno, California from 1980 to 1981.
Mr. Di Tomaso graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1981 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
